Thailand Campaigner

In this exciting new role as EJF's new Thailand Campaigner, the successful candidate will work with our growing team in Thailand to end illegal, unreported and unregulated (IUU) fishing and human rights abuses on fishing vessels and actively promote improvements to policymaking, corporate governance and management of fisheries.

Taiwan Climate Campaigner

This is a rare opportunity to become a Climate Campaigner with the Environmental Justice Foundation (EJF). The Climate Campaigner will be ambitious, thoughtful, and passionate about defending our natural world, people and wildlife, and share our determination to end the climate crisis. This role is for you if you are an experienced, skilled and highly motivated campaigner with a minimum of 4 years in a similar role or with transferable skills that would suit this position.

Project Officer - Thailand

EJF is seeking to employ a new 'Project Officer' to join its new journalist training and capacity-building program for environmental storytellers reporting on blue carbon and climate change issues for improved ocean governance. This position will involve engaging with a wide range of stakeholders including local communities, multimedia journalists, local government agencies across Thailand with a focus on provinces along the Andaman Sea coast.

Project Assistant - Indonesia

EJF is seeking to employ a full-time position of 'Project assistant’ to help in implementing its journalist capacity building project objectives across Indonesia. This position will include liaising with and coordinating with project partners, journalists, media agencies and local activists across the country; conducting desk-based research; planning field-based investigations alongside EJF campaigners and journalists; completing administrative tasks and reports for project activities.

Communications and Media Officer - Ghana

This is a role for an ambitious, talented Communications and Media Officer with fantastic copywriting and organisational skills, an eye for a good story and the confidence to secure media coverage. As EJF’s Ghana Communications and Media Officer, you will be working closely with the Ghana Fisheries Programme Manager and our international communications team to develop and deliver ambitious communications and media strategy for EJF’s projects in Ghana.

Administrative Assistant

Based in Monrovia with frequent travel within Liberia, you will have the responsibility for providing administrative support in implementing our project to reduce illegal fishing and improve the sustainability of fisheries by expanding and strengthening community co-management associations, creating effective capacity for community monitoring and reporting of illegal fishing in Liberia.
